About the Performers
-
Sixth Station Trio is a professional violin, cello, and piano trio based in San Francisco, CA. The members have been playing chamber music together since their high school years at Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts, and through their time pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Playing an expansive range of music — from Western classical music and film scores to video game music and even pop — the group strives to keep classical music relevant to the general public and to bring accessible classical music to the community of San Francisco and the Bay Area. They debuted at San Francisco’s historic Grace Cathedral in May of 2023 with a sold-out concert featuring music from the films of Studio Ghibli.
