Kasama, which loosely translates from Tagalog as “together,” is our annual event honoring Filipino American culture and traditions.

All-day Drop-in Art Activity: Screenprinting
10 AM | Learn to screenprint with 13Gallons, a Filipino-owned screenprinting and embroidery shop based in Daly City. Get creative and decorate your own special printed piece to take home and treasure!
Live Pre-Philippine Script Painting
11 AM | Kick off the Kasama Festival with artist Kristian Kabuay as he paints “sama-sama,” a word that encompasses unity and togetherness, in pre-Philippine script. (Samsung Hall)
Artist Panel with Erina Alejo, Gericault De La Rose, and Rick Rocamora
1:30 PM | Hear from three artists about the power of art to promote cross-cultural exchange, intergenerational dialogue, and community empowerment. (Bogart Court)
